I am passionate about helping organizations and people find success.

The first part of my career was in [higher] education administration and encompassed a mixture of admissions and enrollment management; strategic marketing and communications; and development/advancement work–Kenyon College, Stanford University, Columbus of Art & Design, UC San Diego Extension, and the Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University.

My professional work has been complemented by volunteer engagement as a board leader, at local and national levels, with more than 20 years service primarily working with organizations focused on issues of equity and access–Advocates for Youth (Board Secretary), the Human Rights Campaign (Board of Directors; Board of Governors/Executive Committee), Equitas Health (Board Vice Chair), The Legacy Fund of the Columbus Foundation, and the Create Columbus Commission (Board Chair).
